At The Grand at 1600 Event Center, we host only one wedding at a time, assuring you the utmost in personal attention and assistance with all your wedding details.
We have a beautiful courtyard gazebo and Patio for your outdoor ceremony. The beautifully landscaped patio also serves as an extension of your cocktail hour or Viennese Dessert Display.
Our Regency Suite will be the backdrop for your sumptuous cocktail hour. Crystal chandeliers, gold leaf crown moldings and a spectacular bar surround our presentation of cold and hot displays, attended stations, ice sculpture and silver tray, white glove service butler hors d'oeuvres.
Following cocktail hour your guests will be escorted into our Grand Ballroom, recently renovated with a new porcelain dance floor, where your reception will continue. You and your guests will enjoy the pampering by our experienced staff and culinary creations by our certified executive chef.
The Grand at 1600 Event Center is adjacent to an award-winning hotel, and will provide discounted room rates for your out-of-town guests. A bridal suite, complete with in-room Jacuzzi, a sitting area and dining area, is included for our brides and grooms.
Your special day starts by making an appointment to come in and take a tour of our beautiful reception hall. One of our wedding planners will personally go over our package and show you how The Grand at 1600 Event Center can make your wedding a truly "one-of-a-kind" experience.We look forward to hearing from you.

Working with Colleen to plan our day couldn't have been better. Whatever ideas we had or issues that came up, she was willing to work with us to make everything come out great. The staff during our reception was amazing and Ed, the owner, was on hand to offer assistance and ensure the night went smoothly. The food and desserts were incredible; for weeks we received compliments from friends and family in attendance about how great a time they had and how much they enjoyed the never-ending food and dessert choices. We're so happy that we stopped in to check The Grand out...now it will always be etched in our memories.

Colleen and Ed made us feel like family from the very beginning. They gave us the opportunity to have the wedding my husband and I always wanted. The service was impeccable. Our parents could not believe how attentive the staff was. The guests still can't stop talking about how much fun they had!

From the first moment of talking with Colleen and Ed we knew this was where our wedding dreams would come true! They both helped us every step of the way and they were both very accommodating into making our day the Most Perfectly, Smooth and Bright Wedding Day! They were by our side every single step of the way, responded to all emails/phone calls/texts within minutes! The food is unbelievably delicious, the entire staff treats you and all your guests like family, the whole venue is absolutely gorgeous in every way! The hotel is attached to the venue which makes this very accommodating for all your guests, not to even mention that the Garden State Parkway Entrance/Exit is just up the block. We cannot thank The Grand at 1600 enough for making our wedding day so intimate, so perfect, and such a very joyous occasion for my husband and I and our family and friends!

Excellent food - All guests we spoke to were very satisfied with appetizers at cocktail hour, and the main course was delicious (we had salmon and prime rib). Excellent price - We found their pricing to be very competitive. Elegant atmosphere. We did NO extra decorating and the ball room was just beautiful as furnished. Most of all, excellent people - Ed, Colleen, and Cheri were very helpful and the wait staff was professional and courteous - just tremendous. Their one-event-at-a-time method gives the staff full focus on your event. Colleen kept everyone on schedule and everything flowed smoothly. We are highly satisfied with our experience.
